I've had many buyers go through houses where they absolutely fall in love with it until they get to the basement where they find foundation issues cracking, shifting & moisture. This is something that absolutely has to be taken care of before you go to market. Not only will it prevent the buyer from being in a major negative but buyers also associate a very high cost of foundations and a lot of times they don't cost that much plus, most companies offer a warranty that can be passed onto the buyer making it a real positive compared to a negative.
