Dealing with a realtor isn't something everybody does, and it's easy to disregard it or scoff at their presence if you don't know any better. In the age of information it's easy to look at stuff on your own but looks can be deceiving as well as really knowing what is out there. I didn't know any better at the start and approaching a realtor was definitely out of my comfort zone. JLT definitely lives up to it's reputation, and they learn about you and ultimately your drive to find a home. Every realtor has the algorithm, but JLT manages to walk you through the process with complete transparency (and patience), listened carefully but also matched my energy when it came to looking at homes. I told the realtor to be blunt about it, and they didn't hold back, much to my benefit. No blind leaps of faith I definitely dodged a lot of land mines in neighborhoods I liked.
